Our full list of speakers is now available. Unfortunately Don Thibeau is unavailable to talk about OpenID; however, Henry Story will speak about WebID, and we have three additional speakers: Deanna Lee, VP of Communications and Marketing with the New York Public Library, Ruairi McKiernan, CEO/Founder of SpunOut.ie, and Ronan Skehill, Co-Founder of Cauwill/PinPoints.

Fergus Hurley will speak at BlogTalk

I'm delighted to announce that Fergus Hurley, founder and CEO of Clixtr, will speak at BlogTalk. Fergus will speak on his experiences in Silicon Valley, building and raising funding for a consumer Internet startup, and location-based media sharing.

Early birds can now register for BlogTalk 2010. We have a conference fee of €149 for two days or €99 for one day. We also have a special student / unemployed rate of €99 for both days. A last minute rate will kick in from August 18th.

The medieval banquet dinner on Thursday night is extra: tickets are limited and cost €51.30 each.

Dates confirmed for 26-27 August

We've updated our speakers and schedule page to reflect that the conference will span two days: August 26th and 27th (Thursday and Friday).

On both days, we will have a series of guest speakers, including the previously-advertised keynotes, as well as two discussion panels and possibly some breakout sessions.

On Thursday evening we will have our conference dinner: a medieval banquet at Dunguaire Castle, Kinvara.

Blaine Cook joins list of speakers

We are happy to announce that Blaine Cook, currently working with the Osmosoft team and former lead developer at Twitter, will speak at BlogTalk.

Blaine will speak about the WebFinger initiative (see article at RWW), and he is also well-known for his work on OAuth and Fire Eagle.

Charles Dowd (Facebook) and Adewale Oshineye (Google) Join List of Speakers

We are delighted to welcome Charles Dowd, Manager of Platform Operations for Facebook (EMEA), and Adewale Oshineye, Developer Advocate with the Google Social Web Team, to the speakers list for BlogTalk 2010.

Charles will present on the Facebook Platform in our industry track, and Ade will chair a panel discussion on social networks vs. conversational networks.

Dan Gillmor joins the list of keynote speakers at BlogTalk

We are delighted to have Dan Gillmor, director of the Knight Center for Digital Media Entrepreneurship and author of "We the Media", join the list of keynote speakers at BlogTalk 2010.

Dan was a keynote speaker at the first BlogTalk event in 2003, and we very much look forward to his return to BlogTalk at the conference in August.
